Brenda Bragg Schouten

Brenda Bragg Schouten, daughter of the late George and Sallie Bragg was born on September 30th, 1943 in Savannah GA. She married James Schouten 47 years ago and is survived by her beloved husband and two children, Christopher and Rebekah Schouten. She grew up in Savannah and graduated from Groves High School class of 1962. After living in other states for many years, she returned home to Rincon in 2005 where she worked for Citizens Bank of Effingham. On April 8th, late in the evening her battle with cancer came to an end and she went on to be with her Lord and Savior.

Also surviving are her two loving sisters, Nanci Boyd (Johnny), Pamela Wallis (Paul), three nieces, Nanci Mims (CT), Tamela Westerfield (Cary) and Jamie Chumpley (Barry).

Her memorial visitation will be held at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel Saturday, April 11th from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to Hospice Savannah, Inc. who took amazing care of her in her final hours to, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.

Brenda will never visit us in the country, as she use to refer coming to our house. But we will certainly see her in heaven. God has gained a smart, lovely, working Angel. It is never easy to give up someone you love, but God has a Great Journey for Brenda. We love all of you. Don't let the visit stop all of you from coming to the country since Brenda will be gone. We enjoyed all of your visits. I am still in shock. I just cant believe she gone. Love all of you guys
